OBJECTIVES:
VIP PROTECTION will provide a training course for Executive Protection Personnel & Drivers; the main goal of this training is to prepare the security force to PROTECT the company’s executives and their families in the most efficient way and to present to the assistants with the proper philosophy so that they can understand the delicate balance between security and protocol, in addition to this they will be provided with information such as:
Evasive Driving Techniques, Transit Regulations, Legal Dispositions and Behavior Techniques before the authorities in case they are stopped in a traffic control.
SECURITY SEMINAR
The security seminar hereby proponed will be conducted by Mr. Marc Sand, Victor Aguirre and Rae Morrell Training, Procedures, and Executive Protection Techniques Experts, with the additional help of several other instructors.
All the instructors have Extensive Experience in Security Escorts, Security Expert Training and Executive Self-Protection Procedures.
The seminar has been designed to satisfy the actual security needs around the world, specializing in each countries specific situation.
Each lesson consists in theory and practice application classes, on top of real life scenarios. Literature will be provided to facilitate seminars to be given by the same security personnel.
The instructors will conduct the implementation phases of the seminar:
Three phases: Design, Implementation, and Evaluation. Such phases will allow the desired effect of the course, in order to satisfy the corporation’s specific requisites and those of the security staff, as well as their experience levels to permit evaluation.
The Basic elements of each phase are the following:
Design:
The specific security needs will be analyzed, and the executive’s daily routines will be determined. The experience of the security group will be analyzed to establish an instruction focus level.
Implementation:
The course of implementation includes theory with detailed lessons, objectives and practical exercises. A real life drill will be conducted and documented and the student’s ability will be analyzed.
Evaluation: the driver’s ability will be evaluated in every lesson. The students will share their observations in relation to the seminar to insure that the training complies with the minimum basics
COURSE’S CURRICULUM
EXECUTIVE PROTECTION SEMINAR
1. Team Work:
Within our criminal and delinquency behavior analysis and research, it has been established that they always work and develop in groups, unfortunately we have detected that within security escort groups there are differences and rivalries, that place them in great disadvantage before their adversary in those minutes or seconds for reaction, the purpose of this subject is to unify the tactical and operative criteria and to develop, through group dynamics, the synergy in security.
2. Profile and ethics of the security professional:
In this subject the student will get acquainted with important aspects of rectitude and ethical behavior, based on values that should be applied to the development of their every-day job, and their appearance before the principal.
3. Legal aspects of private security:
The student will know his/her rights and faculties that according to his rights and within a unrestricted frame of legality will permit him to act before society in their jobs as security drivers or personnel.
4. Road regulations:
The student will know the most important articles of the general transit regulation book, to make them see the primary violations, reasons to get pulled over, motives that merit impounding of the vehicle, and even arrest of a driver, with the end of avoiding being surprised by authorities.
5. Elaboration of an informative briefing and logbook keeping:
The student will know how to elaborate an informative briefing of incidents occurred, as well as the elaboration and filling of a daily logbook, same that he will turn in at the end of each shift with the intention that all the information concerning times, routes, and mainly the detection of possible risk zones or choke-points, suspicious people and vehicles along their routes is concentrated to the person immediately above them, with the end of establishing or concentrating important intelligence information.
6. Communications:
The student will know the importance of communication and the use of codes.
7. Adequate procedure to escort the person that has been confided in us:
Includes theory and detailed protection methods, group formation for protection towards the person being escorted; desired responses to a variety of threatening situation; disarming techniques; protocol considerations; deployment procedure recommendations; and several case studies of kidnappings and attempt of murder.
8. Attack prevention Principles:
Studies of several attacks and kidnappings, terrorist and criminal methods, and countermeasures. It includes detailed studies of kidnappings and attacks against executives in Mexico and worldwide.
9. Advance Planning:
Provides the detailed study of more advanced procedures to plan a visit from the protégée to a particular location, or the assistance to an activity or special event. Movies will be projected to reinforce the discussion.
10. On-route and Vehicle Security:
Includes security methods and theory for route planning and evasive driving techniques. Techniques for Bomb detection and Evacuation Procedures.
11. Techniques for Surveillance Detection:
Includes theory and methods used by adversaries to establish surveillance; and the most efficient ways to detect and prevent this.
12. Security of Residences and Offices:
Includes methods and theories for security in offices and houses, emphasizing in perimeter security, access control, and their checkups

Includes exercises specific for drivers, analysis of various simulated attempts while protecting the principal. The reaction before the authorities when pulled over.
Kidnapping simulation, this allows us, while the students are sleeping, to surprise them in their bedrooms, abducting them as a real life experience, and measuring the reaction they have. Most of the times the reaction of the students will be recorded on video, to be reviewed by the same students later.
15. Psychology of the attacker:
Includes exercises and evaluations of past incidences, what kind of threat we are looking at, how to determine how serious the threat is and how to prevent an attack.
16. Suicide Bomber: WHY the do it, their motives, their mental preparation and how to prevent and attack. Lessons learned over the last century on how to deal and prevent possible Terrorist attacks. Psychological profile of Suicide Bombers.
The instructors will guide the students in the exploration of several alternatives as to how to react before difficult and unexpected situations.

EVASIVE & DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE, Mexico City

This course has been designed for executives and drivers of this Company. The purpose of this course is to increase your knowledge of the risks and dangers to confront while driving your vehicle; we also will provide the proper Training so you will be able to respond efficiently to the emergency. This course is also based on the development of commence sense and driving techniques.
Marc Sand, B.A., PhD., CEPS, CAS and Victor Aguirre would present this course in Spanish and English. Special agents in the United States Secret Service have trained Mr. Aguirre and Marc Sand is the former second in Command of e Anti-Terrorism Force in Europe and also the lead Close Protection Agent for the Royal Family.
Acetate and videos about different aspects of techniques of evading and defensive driving would be part of the course.

*Please note that our Training Instructors, Sand and Aguirre, normally expands his presentation for executives into a discussion on hostage survival; therefore, the classroom presentation may be longer than three hours.
