Marc Kahlberg, recently retired from the Israel Police after more than 12 years of distinguished service and founded SCAI International (Security Consulting and Advanced Implementations on Three Continents)

Marc is the CEO of M.K International Security Consulting and Chairman of the American Israel Counter Terror Officers Organization

Marc has held many distinguished positions in the Israel Police. He assisted in creating and establishing various specialty units and was twice awarded the Exemplary Detectives Award from the Israel Police Academy. Marc was the Head of the Tourist Police in Netanya and served as the team leader of both the Yarkon (Tel Aviv) and Netanya Detectives Units.

Marc was the Israel Police Spokesman for the Foreign Press and “VIP” Journalists including amongst others "The New York Times", “CNN”, “FOX News” and the "Wall Street Journal" during Israel's Disengagement Process from Gaza.

Since 2001 Marc has been consulting, lecturing and teaching in the methods of Counter-Terrorism to many National and International agencies such as the New York Police Department, Connecticut State wide Anti-Terrorism task force, Florida Sheriff’s Department, the Spanish Anti-Terror Unit, United States Counter Terrorism Bureau and United States Congressmen aids and advisors. Marc has spoken at many International conferences on the subject of “Delay, Deter and Detect” methods for containing and preventing not only terrorist attacks but also countering organized and violent crime.

In 2002 Marc was honored by the Israel Minister of Police and the Israel Police Chief for his innovation in preparing and implementing the "Kahlberg Plan", a Secure Zone Concept which produced an over 70% drop in crime, in the Netanya Business and Tourist districts, as well as the apprehension and arrest of many suspects and perpetrator's. Today the implementation of the "Kahlberg Plan" is proving successful in Three Continents.
Marc played an integral part of the implementation of various policies and procedures in the combating of terror in the Israel Police especially after the Park Hotel suicide attack in 2002.

Marc is a frequent distinguished guest speaker at many International Conferences and Symposiums and is also critically acclaimed as a leading World authority Counter Terror methods and tactics.

Marc together with Jim Gort from Florida USA created one of the most successful Counter Terror Training Schools, located in Israel, which enables the participants to “Experience Israel” from a different angle.

Since 2006 Marc has been consulting to various local and government agencies throughout the World on pro-active defensive and protective security management methods with already proven results.

Marc is directly involved in providing security implementations for the 2010 Soccer World Cup to be held in South Africa.
Marc was nominated for a prestigious award for business achievers in South Africa.

Marc’s Secure Zone Concept in Florida USA has been nominated for State awards
Marc’s innovation has conceived the next dimension in “real” pro-active Counter Terror and Counter Violent and Organized Crime training methods.
His ability to network correctly and “tell it as it is” has enabled him to recruit the “Best of the Best” in the world of Security from around the globe and together strive to make sure the World is a safer place.
